Blue Knights® IL. Chapter 14 was chartered on May 24th, 2006 with 33 members. We ended 2007 with 71 members. The 2nd largest Chapter in Illinois (Still Growing) and the largest in the St. Louis Metro area. We are based out of Belleville, IL. which is located across the Mississippi River, just east of St. Louis, Mo. IL Chapter 14 currently has 93 Members. WELCOME aboard Terry... The Blue Knights® are a non-profit fraternal organization consisting of active and retired law enforcement men & women who enjoy riding motorcycles. The Blue Knights® are a family fraternity. Spouses and children often accompany our members to the various rides and functions. When travelling, local members can provide assistance, directions and sometimes a place to stay. We are truly a family. As of January 1, 2008, we have 586 chapters and almost 20,000 members in 28 countries. Many Blue Knights® work long and hard to raise money for various charities. Especially near to our hearts is helping children. Make-a-Wish Foundation, Toys for Tots, D.A.R.E., and Concerns of Police Survivors are some examples of our favorites. As of Jan. 1, 2008 Blue Knights® have donated to numerous charities; contributing time in the amount of $3,576,620 (178,831 man hours @ $20 per hour), goods with an estimated value of $592,935.49 and $5,865,257.07 in cash for a total of $10,034,812.56 (USD) We're the good guys!
